Very disappointing showing by the Unified Scene - maybe 5-10 fans at best. The rest of the crowd, which probably topped out at 75 people, seemed to be locals content to remain in their seats throughout the show. Granted it was a strange venue consisting of folding chairs in a tent at a ski resort, but it was still only 130 miles away from the city, so not sure where everyone was. The crowd was so light the band didn't even play the encore. Here's the set list:
Positive Jam Stations Frightened Rock Problems Magazines Sequestered Hornets Chips First Night Constructive Hot Soft Spinners Ambassador Weekenders Hoodrat Southtown
The unplayed encore, per the set list, would have been: Massive, Stay Posi and Slapped.

Yikes. Based on the shows I've been to and scene reports, attendance has been pretty underwhelming on this tour outside of NY and the midwest. It doesn't make a whole lot of sense for a band as critically heralded as THS, combined with their high-profile TV stuff (Game of Thrones, e.g.) and relentless touring. What gives? It feels like we're on the other side of all the momentum this band had back in the late 2000s, watching a slow but steady decline in the band's reach. Someone please tell me I'm exaggerating.

I'll note that attendance at the Portland and Seattle shows was good. Maybe not sell-outs but certainly seemed to be good number of people. Vancouver show had lousy turnout, although I'd like to chalk this up to suburban, seated venue. Vegas was small crowd although it's a weird market and Phoenix was pretty hoppin, but probably also not a sellout. So, I think there's certainly some inconsistency but I would prefer to see bigger crowds at some of the shows. As a live act, THS is so good that it's really disappointing that they aren't drawing more people.

Toronto was sold out I believe, I was looking at Bellayre but the details on it when it was announced were pretty sketchy

I know I can't control any of it and maybe it's none of my business, but it's a bummer, I like seeing my favorite bands play to a full room and get the support I think they deserve.
