I know these weren't the ones covered in the article (sans Chips/Weekenders) but...
Holly - Taryn Manning (Maybe this is my Orange is the New Black bias) or dare I say......Kristen Stewart (GASP!), but I wouldn't actually go with her because she's the box office equivalent of leprosy at this point (My top choice would be Brittany Murphy, if she were alive). Charlemagne - I can picture who Charlemagne is in my head, but I can't assign an actor to him yet. Gideon - this guy I went to high school with Girl from One for the Cutters - Chloe Moretz Girl from Chips/Weekenders - Katrina Bowden

Great article.
One that has always stuck out for me is Aaron Paul/Krysten Ritter from Breaking Bad for "The Only Thing". Even Bryan Cranston/Anna Gunn makes sense if you reverse the gender roles. The moods of the song and that series are very compatible...

"Katherine Heigl as the girl in “Chips Ahoy!” and “The Weekenders.”
Katherine Heigl is, in my mind, the queen of the Romantic Comedy That I Can Only Watch on an Airplane. She’s especially good at the first part of the rom-com where the male lead finds her hard to like. She does this very believably. At the end of “The Weekenders,” I say, “It’s not going to be like a romantic comedy,” and this seems like something you’d have to remind Heigl about. "
That is an incredibly polite epic burn. Good job, Craig.
