Their Editor-In-Chief has a "Stay Positive" symbol tattoo.

Their Editor-In-Chief has a "Stay Positive" symbol tattoo. I'm just bitter about that "D" on a review that called a song "Stacked Actors", haha

I noticed a few inconsistencies in the article. For example in the write of BAGIA the author mentioned that Craig name-dropped girls in Southtown Girls, but I always thought he was talking about streets in Minneapolis. Apologies if I'm mistaken.

Breakdowns of the albums aside, can we talk about these fucking rankings for a second.
Sep Sunday at #4, BAGIA ranked dead last?
When I saw AKM at #3, I was like, "okay, sure, after SS and BAGIA," then I saw how they ranked the next two and was like whatthefuck. They gave Teeth Dreams a 2/10 and then said it was their second best album? I understand it's different writers doing these, but I do appreciate a little uniformity. If you read a music magazine (pre-internet), and one issue said this album sucks, and the next said it's the bands second best, wouldn't you be a little confused? Like, does the band overall suck? If they do, why do a whole piece dissecting them? Sure, online magazines need to find content everyday, but different writers doesn't mean different source. At least mention the discrepancy. It's not like Teeth Dreams came out 10 years ago and the dude who reviewed it was channeling the CoS.
That being said, I was glad to see them give Teeth Dreams credit.
So the ranking were for the artwork. Fuck me. Rant redacted.

Yea those are artwork rankings
Its weird he said SP never mentions Holly or Gideon or Charlemagne by name, but they're all there in "ask her for adderall"

I really enjoyed the breakdown of BAGIA. I instantly fell in love with THS the first time I heard Stuck Between Stations, it was my first taste of the band and for the last 7 years I have listened to them almost exclusively. I don't know how one band can somehow continue to relate to my life in so many ways, but Finn's lyrics continue to do so. And this quote from the article sums it up perfectly. "Fuck the colossal expectations and live for the people, the love, and the intoxicants."

Never-fucking-ending props to Consequence of Sound for that double order of love and respect to the sax solo in Hostile, Mass. - Stuck Between Stations reeled me in, but that damn sax solo kept me from diving back out.
