Thanks!
I'll love this on the album, Craig seems a bit unsure of the lyrics on this version but it still smokes. Looking forward to hearing it when they get more comfortable with it

Fighting the temptation to listen to this because I was super-pumped from what I heard of it in the trailer and I don't want my first listen to the whole tune to be a tentative-feeling live version. It's my most anticipated tune on this record.

It's my most anticipated tune on this record. Yeah Charlie, good decision. It is worth the wait, best song on the record and this recording does the song no justice at all. Then again, I am from the old school ... shock ... of not digging around for iPhone "recordings/videos" of new songs before they are released. Puzzling to me what is acceptable as listenable and watchable these days. Now you YouTube trollers, get off my lawn!

i don't see much difference between scouring youtube for new songs and collecting live tapes of bands. youtube makes things a whole lot easier, but fans have always traded live recordings (of varying quality) of bands they love. i get really excited listening to live versions before a record comes out.

But we are older, wiser- we know to let a steak rest before we cut into it, we know to read a poem in the woods before on the subway, unless it's Kerouac- who should only be read in a car.

i don't see much difference between scouring youtube for new songs and collecting live tapes of bands I don't do that either. But, that being said, I did when I was younger. I got my hands on anything Guided By Voices that I could find/trade for. I find all of it basically unlistenable now. I did not mean to disparage anyone else's listening preferences or patterns, I was just suggesting to Charlie, a friend of mine, he should wait and it will be worth it!
