The video sums up every reason that I started following THS extensively. I haven't followed a band since I was 19, and it's fun to be doing it now in my late thirties. It's like my teenage years, only with a bigger budget and no curfew.

Absolutely superb, both article and video.
Some very sweet people featured.
I heard the story about the credit card in the Guardian article. I also heard it may have been an example of the whole stay positive thing being taken towards financial recklessness.

The video sums up every reason that I started following THS extensively. Cool, that's what I was shooting for. As an aside, the first cut of this was closer to 6 minutes long and used music beds of "Sweet Payne", "Same Kooks" and "Killer Parties" (they were all replaced due to copyright issues). As much as I love the new songs in it, the old ones had a more direct connection (timewise) to the era of a lot of the photos and it had a perfect edit/cut into the "dream of a unified scene" lyric. Also, as for the photos in it, thanks to Motorben and the Almighty LK for chipping the Polaroids and some of the old black & whites respectively.

I like the video. Lots. Little unexpected punch in places, original soundtrack would have killed worse.
Are we calm enough to say that aspects of that made me want to revisit our most recently hot topic? Either a wave 2 redesign or crowdsourced funding for a wave 1 reissue?

Rich, great job with the rock falcon videos - they've all been simultaneously revealing, tantalising, stylish and affectionate. Given the snippets scattered across the series, I assume you're pretty familiar with the new record by now. Are you free to post a review or at least a few reflections?

Also, not that anyone is surprised, but Runner's High sounds bitchin'. Yeah, the riff/lick really grabs ya. Yakman ... thanks - as for my opinion for what it is worth, for now I'll just say I agree with a lot of that positive UK Uncut review that was posted on these boards last week. Doctoracula - like a "director's cut" ... a DVD of b-side videos!

Seeing Springsteen in Coventry....Howard and Keith are there trying to find us and then the parting of the crowd and Howard with four pints to pass around...what a guy!
