I guess showing up with a half pint of Old Crow and a stage invasion is out of the question.

Happy to say our son and I got to this today. Great time had by all and wound up being full band gig! Mostly students and parents obviously and maybe one or two other people there solely as fans, about 40 people in all I'd say. Band were all in a great mood and took time to talk and sign operation poster for son afterwards as well as take pics with a bunch of folks. Q & a lasted maybe fifteen minutes with Craig discussing songwriting and Tad talking about writing guitar parts. Full band played Stations, Weekenders, Police on my back (with a female student on lead vocals) Spinners and then Sequestered (request from school owner). School members jumped in for additional takes of Stations and Spinners and the kids really did well. As a closer the owner (who has relationship with Steve from prior bands) requested Purple Rain with Steve on vocals and guitar, Tad on bass and himself on drums and it was obviously very cool! Steve killed on vocals and solo towards end of song. Craig and rest of band on sidelines loving it and chuckling away. Not sure on videos (although someone from school was filming most of it), but I'll get some pics up when I can. Best band in the land kids!

I dub your child "that lucky kid" because he has had the coolest experience ever.
