Yes, it's an early roll call, but I'm excited! Unfortunately, it looks like we don't get a 40 Watt show, so everyone needs to get their asses down to the Variety.
I will be there, with whiskey, wearing #496.

Already bought my tickets... Can't wait for this show! Last time I saw them was the AppleStore SoHo acoustic set, so I'm anxious for another full rockin' show! I'll be there with my girlfriend and my brother!

I'll probably plan a biz trip to come in for this show. I guess worst case I can get rid of the tickets here if things fall through.
Question: What is up with the Variety Playhouse? I've seen shows there and like the venue alot but going on their website just now there are almost no shows on the calendar. What's going on and how the hell do they keep their doors open only doing 3-4 shows a month?

What do y'all say, pre-game again at the Yacht Club?

I might be moving to Atlanta at the end of August. If so, I'll be here.

I so want to go but I have no idea what my work schedule will be like. I'm fairly certain my brother is going, I hooked him on THS, and I'm tempted to buy a ticket just in-case I can make it. hmmmmmm

Since I'm in FL, this is the furthest South THS is currently scheduled, I'm SO tempted to go. But I think I may end up going to the Charlottesville show that Rich & Polly invited me to. If something changes, I'll def let you know (don't have a U.S. shirt anymore, though, sorry to say). Hope someone will recognize me.

Picked up tickets for me and my brother today. Less than a month away! We need to make sure the guys know that the South loves THS too!

We killed it there last time the boys were back in town, let's make it a tradition. The Yacht Club is (indirectly) across the street from the Variety Playhouse on Euclid. Be there.

I'm going to be eating dinner with my little bro at Fox Bros @ 7:30. I'll be in a brown T-shirt that says "Hold Steady Ybor City" on the back - not hard to miss. Anybody who wants some barbecue is welcome to join. We'll probably stop by Yacht Club after, if there's time before the THS set.

I may or may not make it to the Yacht Club but I'll see you all at the show! I'll be wearing my constructive summer tour shirt.
Anybody know anything about the Donkeys?

Hi Unified Scene, Just wanted to write a quick note to say, to Craig and the band, I'm sorry for whipsawing 4 oz of a PBR into your face midway through the show tonight in Atlanta! I have to be honest-- I've seen THS maybe 20 times in four cities from Williambsurg to Cambridge to Detroit to Atlanta. Never have felt quite as much as a louse as when I threw some beer onto the stage. Craig, it was meant in a friendly way, as a kind of celebration of how much I like you and your band. The last thing in the world i would ever want to do is annoy you or disrespect you. That said, I thought it was kind of a dick move to single me out and ruin my show. You'd have a hard time finding someone who loves your band more than I do. Back in the day, a little beer throwing your way was meant affectionately. Sorry that's no longer the case with you guys, Mick

I have to be honest-- I've seen THS maybe 20 times in four cities since 2004, from Williamsburg to Cambridge to Detroit to Atlanta. Never have I felt quite as much as a louse as when I threw that bit of beer onto the stage tonight. Craig, it was meant in a friendly way, as a kind of celebration of how much I like you and your band. The last thing in the world i would ever want to do is annoy you or disrespect you. That said, I thought it was kind of a dick move for you to single me out and ruin my show, as if I was the biggest asshole in the room. You'd have a hard time finding someone who loves your band more than I do. Back in the day, a little beer thrown your way was everywhere understood as a sign of affection. I bet before tonight, I've done it 10 times without any incident. Sorry that's no longer the case with you guys. THE HOLD STEADY RUINED MY FAVORITE BAND. Mick
