Trying to get from Baltimore on Monday to NYC in the most cost-effective manner possible.
Would rather not take the bus- and am trying to get this 48 hour bender done on a budget which means the train is out-
Anybody doing both nights feel like letting me hitch a ride with them?
PM me. I'll kick in for gas/drugs/food/whatever.
(Totally kidding about the drugs part)
(Sort of)

dude. megabus. something like $40 round trip! i'm only suggesting this because by "the bus" i think you mean "the devil" and by "the devil" i think you mean "greyhound."

if you can't come up with another option our car will still be available. although we're kinda full and leaving pretty early. but you're welcome to join us.

Yeah, I texted Brendan earlier about that...but shortly after hitting "send" I thought to myself, "Self...if I ride a four hour ride with Brendan after a night of boozing and debauchery, there is a good possibility that one of us will find ourselves being lunged from the vehicle on the side of I-95" ;D And then he replied that y'all are planning on hitting the road by 8 (!?!?) which eliminated that option altogether. This Megabus sounds enticing though.

check out Boltbus. if you can make it to DC it's cheap as hell.
I did Boston -> NYC -> DC -> NYC -> Boston this past summer for $36 total.

megabus has a baltimore stop - although it is somewhat out of the way - and is roughly comparable to boltbus. megabus uses a variable pricing model such that, depending on when you buy and how much demand there is for a particular route, you might pay less than boltbus. my last oneway to NYC from DC was $10.
