Great show. High energy crowd right in front of Craig, which was surprising, but cool. Got a copy of the setlist...Hoodrat wasn't on it, and they skipped Steve Nix as the second encore song...but man, Killer Parties. Wow. Beautiful outdoor night. Craig mentioned a few times that his sister was there. Talked to Tad after the show, who was a bit apologetic that Craig's voice was ragged. Seems he ended lent Sunday night by having lots of fun. I didn't care. Great setlist (finally got Charlemagne!), and most importantly, was able to tell the guys after the show how much their music helped me through some really dark times last year. Here's a picture. Man, I wish I could join you guys in Sacramento. Jack

I had a great time at the show. I was blown away by the energy but not surprised by it. The garbage truck was a funny event. The cops that showed up scared the hell out of me because I thought they were going to close it down. I think they hit just about every song I really wanted to hear, maybe they missed a couple but what can you do? My one and only complaint, which didn't really detract from my enjoyment, was the absolutely horrid sound. Did other people have bad sound or was it because of where I was standing? I was over by Franz but I couldn't hear him at all and Craig's vocals were indecipherable. I know the songs well enough to still have fun but my friend had never heard a single THS song until the concert and it left him with an iffy opinion of them. I'll have to do something about that though. :-)

Nice show. Music sounded great, vocals difficult to hear on Tad side too.
Drove home, 3 hours sleep, worked all day. Too old for this.
Beauty Bar, nice, small venue.

Damn, wish I would have found this board BEFORE I flew down from Vancouver for the show. Great time at THS, again, and thanks to Houston for putting up a running setlist so that I could piece the show together. Best moment has to have been when the garbage truck drove by during the opening band. Classic Spinal Tap moment.

Welcome Jimmyswagger! You'll have to come down to LA in July and meet up with us. By the way...I LOVE Vancouver. Work there all of the time. Would love to come up there and see the boys....

Thanks Cre. It looks like they haven't been to Vancouver since 2006 (before I was into them), so they're definitely due. Sadly, I looked into the LA show, but I'll be at a cabin at the lake instead. I won't moan too much, though, since I did get to see THS/DBT two nights in a row down in Seattle on the Rock and Roll Means Well tour last November. It was my first indoctrination to THS live, and it was glorious.
