By the way Chips Ahoy was played at 3 but is missing from the typewritten list - it is on the photo.

It was a top gig. That's definitely the best I've seen them (ok, it was only my third time ) and it was the best sort of venue to see them in. I was a bit surprised at the early start (about 8:20pm) and it was lucky for me I was feeling stuffed after pie and mash at the Scarbrough pub and didn't fancy another drink at a pub so was there in time. They did, what, an hour and a half? Still, I was pleased it meant a relatively early finish as we had to get back to Preston afterwards and got back at a reasonable hour.

Yeah it was early - we almost stopped off at 8 for another beer on the way there. Thankfully we didn't bother and just went straight in!

Is it just me, or does the venue look like a nissen hut?

Top night. Great to meet you all (faces 'old' and new) once again. Brilliant set and front of stage with Hannah was... deafening ! Good fun in Mojos too afterwards - always nice to say hello to the guys: what good people they are. Enjoy Cambridge. Howard - you were missed. Will get me pics on Flickr asap.

Hey! Claire here, I met a few of you at the show last night. I'll probably be best remembered as the girl that baked and brought along 'double whiskey cake no ice' cupcakes with green whiskey icing. ;D Sugar with Hannah and Andy right before the show - a definite must for all future gigs! Managed to get a tray of them to the band afterwards, hope they enjoyed them..!

I was the blonde in the guitar dress who said "you MUST join the messageboard." Hopefully not in a menacing way!

Fun night, lovely SS-heavy set. Stood in front of Franz, he and Galen seemed to be having a good time. Good to see Keith and Andy and Mr. Blondette as well as the Monday night team. Good to see some unknown faces in Unified Scene t shirts. Mad props to the barman next to Mojo for playing a load of Thermals jams super loud and double mad props to the cab driver who gave us a spliff.

The only disappointment for me the other night was a) I was late getting into Leeds so didn't hit the pub beforehand and b) that I couldn't come to Mojo's afterwards because I had an early start. I notice from the posts on here that a lot of the people I sent US tees shirts out to when Crayolakid and I sorted out a batch last year, were actually at the show - I actually recognised some of the numbers and was wearing mine - it would be good to meet you all next time.

I would have the pics up today (including cake) but brought the wrong lead in.

Cheers Ian. Likewise meeting you. Top night wasn't it? Glad we got to the rendezvous. Your mate was a bit scary it must be said! Is the Glaswegian chap you got talking to on these boards?

I'm not sure. Glaswegian chap, are you here? i have some photos of his girlfriend with some of the band on my phone anyway.
i assume the other kid that sauntered around Leeds with us enroute to mojos is on here, what's his username? he may have told me but there are some blurry moments in the night. next time i am staying on the fruit juices so i can take it all in properly!
thanks again for helping out with tickets way then btw, i wouldn't have even been there without your help!
