We all know that killer parties almost kill you. That means that killer parties don't kill you.
Townie parties are definitely not killer parties. But, you can get killed at a townie party.
So, killer parties don't kill you, and the non-killer parties can kill you.
It'd be very sad if someone turned down an invite to a killer party because of safety concerns, instead went to a townie party, and ended up dead anyway.
Gotta be careful out there.

You're taking leaps in logic. Just because killer parties can almost kill you doesn't mean they can't kill you.

Yeah, I'm seeing a lack of tautology in the "Almost Killed Me" portion. There's no saying that a townie party can't be a killer party either. Townie Party = T, Killer Party = K.
It's not T^K, nor is it T \/ K. It being T > ~K, and the inverse ~T>K isn't true either. We have to add in the variable, is it awesome (killer), which we'll call A.
A fair logical equation would then be (T -> K) <->A. Using Modus Tollens, we can then say:
(T -> K) <-> A ~A ~(T->K) Therefore, it's not a Killer Party.
OR
(T->K) <->A A (T->K)
It is therefore possible for a Townie Party to be a killer party.

One thing is for certain, do not go into basements. The problem with fighting in a basement is that YOU'RE FIGHTING IN A BASEMENT.

I knew I'd get a better response if I posted this here instead of on my facebook. I certainly didn't expect logic equations. Thanks, guys.

LOL
And this is the perfect place to bring my question. Please forgive me, Matt Jones, if I'm imposing on your mad logic skillz. My company has taken to circulating inspirational quotes related to our "Core Values." One of the Core Values is "Integrity" and the quote is from former U.S. Senator Alan Simpson:
"If you have Integrity, nothing else matters. If you don't have Integrity, nothing else matters."
Treating these as two premises, I concluded that nothing else matters. (Law of the Excluded Middle, right?) I further concluded that Integrity doesn't matter, either. Therefore, nothing matters.
Somehow, I don't think this is what my company wanted me to learn. Where did I go wrong?

Killer parties almost killed Craig (or whatever persona he is adopting on that album) but there's nothing saying that killer parties never killed anyone. It just got interesting again.

I've been to some killer townie parties. Bonfires, big cars and/or motorcycles, beer stolen from the frat parties, all manner of prescription drugs being abused...etc. Actually almost got into a knife fight at one once (I was too drunk at the time to notice make the connection, but I sure did the next morning...coolest thing I almost ever did)...so yeah, townie parties can be killer AND kill you.
