That's pretty sweet. I'm impressed.
I'm working on a Craig Finn clay figurine right now.

I took this one yesterday to show a friend.. He has legs now and is standing on his own, but I already had this handy:

Wowow, I really like the texture in that. The folds of the shirt must have taken some work. How tall is he?

Thanks, guys..
It's only creepy if I start talking to it or putting pins in it, right? ..... right?
Anodyne, he's about a little over 12" tall standing up (i.e. with the bottoms of his legs added).
Mike, it's mainly made of Super Sculpey (with Sculpey III for colour). I'm still pretty new to sculpture and it's the only medium I've ever used so I can't compare it to anything but I can say this stuff is great for making models because it doesn't air dry at all. You have to bake it, so you can wait until you get things the way you want before it begins to harden. That way, you can take as much time as you need.

There's some real talent on this board. papertiger -- The hands and guitar on your sculpture of Craig remind me a lot of Bruce Bickford's work. If you're not familiar with it, even if you are, check out Frank Zappa's Baby Snakes DVD. Amazing! I'll post some of my art later. I can bash the hell out of a galvanized metal garbage bin with a baseball bat or other similar blunt object.

Also, mantastic420, I've never checked out Bickford's work, but I will. (Incidentally, the hands only look that way cause they were flattened when the thing fell over in the oven while I was baking it.)

Here's another one for you guys... just a fast grayscale sketch. No WIPs this time because I drew it pretty fast... I must confess, Craig dresses up nicely.
