so i'm sure this song has been discussed to death by now since it's been available for something like a year, but i've only recently really gotten into it. it slipped under my radar when i first heard the b-sides for SP, and i was so excited to have a studio recording of adderall that i sorta overlooked everything else.
but yeah. this song is incredible. i listen to it over and over now and always find something new to appreciate. the line "we're watching movies that we've already seen" kills me for some reason. it sounds so resigned, and maybe i've felt like that before and that just sort of sums it up perfectly. and the gossipy office bit has been hitting a little too close to home lately too.
it's also a pretty great alternate last song for the record. it changes the feel of the end of the record, and the last line ties back in to constructive summer so its kinda cyclical too. i've been messing with the sequencing on my ipod and i like having this at the end then starting over again.
again, sorry if this has all been said before but its late and this song has me in a really good and chatty mood

I don't have this track either. My nephew has it and has played it for me a few times. I just love how slapped actress ends the album. To point, I was thrilled to find that Adderall was not tagged on the end of my vinyl , but rather slipped in as the first track on the fourth side.
I've got some work to do on getting b-sides and bonus tracks. I also want to pick up all the 7"s and the three albums that I don't have on vinyl.

It's a great song. The title still sounds like a slang term for a handjob to me. twohandedhandshake.com

best song on SP by miles i recon.
i love it when it goes into that little simple, but fucking monsterous riff where craig is singing the bit about 'i dont think youll find love in some bathroom in some club'
that didnt sound very coherent, but o well..
just sounds like an earlier Steady to me, and for that i love it in a very different way as opposed to how i love the rest of SP

he quotes lines from movies when he's trying to be funny
watching movies that we've already seen
it's like we're not even trying

I love all of the b-sides, but this one might be my favorite. If the b-sides had replaced a few of the weaker songs on the album SP might have been on the same level as BAGIA.

My friends and I often recite lines from movies when we're trying to be funny. Usually, the lines are spouted off in an appropriate situation, but still, I guess Craig wouldn't approve.
Anyway, yeah, great song.

First I thought it was nice, then I found it a bit light and... unimportant. Now, I absolutley love it. I think the last part of the song is amazing, and really adds something to their catalog.

its so simple, but the way the song builds up to "we've gotta try a little harder, we've gotta be a little better" ... fuck.

The line, His one silver earing, means he parties on weekends, slays me evrytime I hear it.
