I read Blankets a few days ago and loved it. Was able to relate to quite a bit of the story which made it extra good, and thought provoking. And I ordered Asterios Polyp and the new Jeffrey Brown book Funny Misshapen Body yesterday, and am hoping they'll arrive soon!

Ooohh they have Asterios Polyp in Cardiff Central Library, think I will have to have a look! Just got Tank Girl : One, which is basically the first of the latest run of trade collections. Loved Hewlett's art for a really long time, so I thought I'd better get involved. Man, I love Tank Girl! I love how silly and ridiculous it is, not to mention all the pop culture references strewn throughout the pages. What about all y'all?

i loved it about 10 years ago... no idea if it holds up. i can tell you it's a 100% accurate depiction of life in Australia i think Hewlett's art is the best thing about the Gorriliz

One of my favourite graphic artists. I think it still holds up well, it's clearly older but still better than a lot of shit out there.

Planning on picking up all of Monstress and Guerillas this month. Sana Takeda's art in Monstress is beautiful and Liu writes such a mysterious and mystical story (Neil Gaiman notes some of the best cats in comics), and Brahm Revel writes and illustrates an exciting and engaging story in Guerillas (apes with guns, so).
I get real purchasey at the comic book store, so I might wait until end-of-year money to get those and (finally, hopefully) Sandman.
Does anyone have Complete Sandman? I haven't decided if I want that or the individual volumes. I'm curious what others prefer.
