OMGosh! Jimi Hendrix for $5.50? That's nuts. Mine was Bon Jovi February 1987. I was 13 in 8th grade and TOTALLY IN LOVE. Slippery When Wet tour in Hollywood, FL where Ratt and Cinderella opened for them. JBJ looks exactly the same to this day (and he's still got the buns, baby!) Okay, I have to take a cold shower and cool off now. Excuse me...

Jonathan Richman when I was about 8. I don't remember much except being perplexed by "I was dancing in a lesbian bar" and when some guy said that he'd have to pay his son to go see Jonathan Richman. It was great! I think. But it went on past my bedtime.

I think.. Possibly The Corrs? Lame. First proper gig with good music though was Lostprophets and Liberty 37 (best band ever!), back when Lostprophets had only just got signed and they were playing metal riffs and kick ass drums. Lib blew them off the stage though. The only time I ever saw them, before I had their albums, and they split shortly after. Never got to see them again.
