it's disconcerting to me how even bruce lapses into a faux british accent a little singing london calling.
i totally do that when singing in the shower. i just get used to hearing my favorite songs done a particular way. but it's hilarious from bruce.

I love how he doesn't know what note to start on. That happens to me a lot, haha. Very cool, though. I also loled at the faux-British accent.

Don't really know of any pubs in the area (there must be thousands) but this one The Larrick has been recommended to me. maps.google.com/maps?q=The%20Larrick&sourceid=ie7&rls=com.microsoft:en-US&oe=utf8&um=1&ie=UTF-8&sa=N&hl=en&tab=wlApparently it's small and will be crowded and you'll need to book a table to eat. My plans aren't yet set as somehow I find I'm in possession of 2 spares (not like me) so I may just give the pub a miss plus I wanted to see TGA on from 14:50-15:30 That leaves 3 hrs preparation in the beer garden, we could meet up there. My son is working merch for all 3 days so I'll report back Saturday with details of the lay out. Just received the following: Gates open at 12.45pm Bruce is due onstage at 7.00pm there is a 10.15pm curfew. Bruce WILL be playing a full length standard set Full line up and on stage times MAIN STAGE 19.00 - 22.15 BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN AND THE E STREET BAND 17.10 - 18.25 DAVE MATTHEWS BAND 15.50 - 16.40 JAMES MORRISON 14.50 - 15.30 THE GASLIGHT ANTHEM 14.00 - 14.30 BEAUVOIR~FREE PEPSI MAX STAGE 18.00 - 19.00 STARSAILOR 17.00 - 17.40 JOSHUA RADIN 16.15 - 16.45 THE LOW ANTHEM 15.25 - 16.00 THE PRETTY THINGS 14.40 - 15.10 THE BOY WHO TRAPPED THE SUN 14.00 - 14.25 RUDY VAUGHN BANDSTAND 18.00 ARNO CARSTENS 17.00 DAVID GIBSON 16.00 LISA MITCHELL 15.00 GOLDHEART ASSEMBLY

There's the Serpentine Bar. In the venue. Pubs in the area are all a bit Belgravia and expensive.

I'm up for meeting in the venue somehow! Might not make it for TGA due to the usual ridiculous hotel check in time but will damn well try. Am definitely planning on seeing The Low Anthem at 4.15 but apart from that not that bothered until Bruce so should be able to fit a drink or two in!
First Bruce gig for me so very very excited!!

Aww Man. The Onlineticketexhchange have fucked up the posting of tickets (This is pertinent as this is where I bought my ticket). They're offering refunds and can't confirm if they will have a collection point on Sunday.

eBay to the rescue. I've got another ticket. Just picked it up for less than I paid for my first one.
