...Alone In New York. Forkcasted by Pitchfork. I've never heard of Mark Mallman, but Wikipedia tells he has opened for quite a few known artists, and that he plays in a band called Ruby Isle. Anyway, on this song, a guy you probably know drops a few lines. Not essenstial in a THS perspective, but definitely something new for the which-songs-has-Craig-Finn-sung-on-thread. Hear it here: pitchfork.com/forkcast/12867-youre-never-alone-in-new-york/

Thanks so much for sharing this muzzleofbees is that lisa simpson or clarence clemons whaling on the sax and Craig Finn add such a good element to this song following that sax solo and then the soft tickling of the ivory is that Franz Nicolay. Catchy song. Craig lyrics are great as always. no Ybor City or Minneapolis shout out's in this one.

I usually like Mark Mallman and I love Craig, but I can't get behind this one. It sounds wrong to me.

That was really sick, but I have to say I was expecting a bit more.
But then again Craig Finn sets his bar extremely high.
