(The song, not the member)
My iPod was extremely good to me this morning on the drive in. In order I got:
40 Bucks 212Margarita Atlantic City
Made me wonder what the live versions of 212Margarita sound like, since I've always only heard the acoustic version from the Virgin sessions.....could someone recommend a show for me that's on the taped show archive?
Thanks so much.
Jack

It was played at the 40 Watt Club show. This is possibly my favourite Hold Steady bootleg (that I have heard) - it also has The Ballad Of The Midnight Hauler, , 212 Magarita (obv), First Night, Citrus, Barfruit Blues, Hot Fries, and the best version of Most People Are DJs that I can even imagine.

I like him a little ropey. I prefer the word 'gristly' myself, even though it doesn't make that much sense.

I love 212Margarita, but mostly for the 612 shout out.

I legitimately though this thread was about our board member friend.

I thought the exact same thing. It is however a very cool song.
