The Rays are a crap team. When you need cowbells to be loud as fans, you're doing it wrong.

you wouldn't think the World Series MVP would shop on a Saturday afternoon at the King of Prussia mall. But Cole Hamels did today. Stood in line just like the rest of us.

Yeah but do you know how many cheeseburgers 160 million can buy?
I can't wait for in 2 years when Sabathia is 375 pounds, is breaking down and still has 100 million left to be paid. The Yankees are so fucking pathetic and lost.

I'm a Sox fan who wanted the Rays to win. They were a great team young team with a great story. How can you hate on that?

I'm a Sox fan who wanted the Rays to win. They were a great team young team with a great story. How can you hate on that? 1. Because I am a Phillies fan and have been for life 2. Because they are the Rays. 3. They used to be the Devil Rays... seriously.... 4. Cowbells have no business in sports. 5. What's a better story than a supposedly Jilted statue putting a curse on a city until a tiny replica of said statue is placed on the highest point of the new tallest building of the city. 6. I would have rather watched a Bo Sox vs Phillies World Series, better fan bases overall, more baseball hype = more awesome Ibanez... he can run, he can field, he can hit, he can play 9 innings of baseball Burrell he can hit I see no problem with Ibanez

I love the Rays. Love them. Will thank each and everyone of them for helping make my year great.
No hate- just love and positivity.

its not really a hate, its a dislike, because I just don't like them.
I don't even think its the team.. kudos to them.. its their fan base... it just aggravates me.

Ibanez... he can run, he can field, he can hit, he can play 9 innings of baseball Burrell he can hit I see no problem with Ibanez Damn...here I am on my second day as a member here and I needed to correct someone (please believe me - it isn't a habit)! Ibanez was last season the second worst defensive LF (according to statistics) in MLB - yeah, Pat was the worst. Then again, if you play on a postage stamp - it mightn't matter so much! He will cost draft pick(s). He's older than Burrell - 37 already. You guys don't want (let alone need another lefty). Now...I'll just duck as I say that I'm dyed-in-the-wool orange and blue guy! (And it makes no difference to the points above that Pat has always been a Met-killer)!!! Let's Go Mets!!!

I am more concerned with the 9 innings of baseball than statistics
Stats mean crap, stats are not always recorded correctly. I should know, my stats from last year only say I batted .258, yet I know that other teams stats people placed hits as errors, and visa versa.
So yeah... 9 innings over to around 7.5 sounds good in my book

(And it makes no difference to the points above that Pat has always been a Met-killer)!!! Let's Go Mets!!! 1.) Based on what "statistics?" Ibanez had only 5 errors and the best "range factor" ((putouts + assists)/total innings) of any starting left fielder in the majors. 2.) The Phillies will get a comparable draft pick back when Burrell signs. 3.) True, but he is still faster and is known for his extensive workout regimen. 4.) Ibanez hit .305 vs. lefties last year, compared to .288 vs. righties. Besides, K-hole is a righty...I'll take that matchup. 5.) Pat has been a Met-killer, but the only real Met-killers are the Mets themselves, and that's just fine by me ;-)
