So how about we post cool references we've found to the Hold Steady? For example, lyrics or the band referenced in other songs, found online in random things, ect, and I'll start. www.questionablecontent.net/view.php?comic=1385If you notice, one of the characters is wearing a Hold Steady shirt. The artist also mentioned at one point that the album Seperation Sunday was one of his favorite albums of the year it came out, and recommended it to others.

I'm probably wayyyyyyy off base, but the new South Park ads revolve around the phrase "Stay Positive". Just sayin', certain parts of the band COULD feasibly be parodied.

i just got an e-mail from a job search thing i signed up for ages ago telling me to 'Stay Positive' (in the face of rising unemployment rates in Australia) i don't think its a THS ref, tho i did make me glad that i have a job *knock on wood*
