" Yeah, Sapphire" and " Djs" are the most fun to play alongside of. Just, you know...sayin'...

My favorite to play along with is probably Stevie Nix. Love the quick chord changes during the verses. You Gotta Dance is great as well.
I can proudly say that I can play just about every THS on guitar. Probably not perfectly, but I can at least rock out the basic chords. It'd be fun to do a Hold Steady tribute jam!

Yeah I've had a look at that before, and I've just about got the verse down, but there's a couple of slightly twiddlier bits I can't get. I've got a couple of people coming round for a jam tonight, so we'll have a go at working it out and I'll stick it on here for unified enjoyment.

Tad told me two years ago he'd show me it the next time he saw me.
...still waiting, haha.

I dont think Tad even has it down. funny you mention that, because there may be some truth to it. i wrote him on myspace about two years ago asking if he had a tab to it, and he wrote back saying that he doesn't really read tab, doesn't really know the chords off hand, and just plays it. i chuckled, because i can totally believe that.

I posted my 212 wrong - I play it the same. Didn't know the chorus though, thanks!
