There's about nine million of these. Let's condense. Post questions, tabs, other guitar mumbo-jumbo in here.
Ya dig?

Well, the stuff really does belong in one thread. All we need is people to bring stuff in from the other threads floating around.

You may have noticed my spamming of it, but I'll post it in here as well; 40 Bucks Main Riff; e|-10--10--9h10p9-----7--7--7--7h8p7-----| B|-------------------10-10-10---7h8p7-7-7-| G|-------------------------------------7-7--| D|---------------------------------------| A|---------------------------------------| E|---------------------------------------|
Tabs look awful on the forum, the first three 7s on the e string is easier to play on 12 on the b string I think

Just put this in a post for someone, only the basics for Sweet Payne guitar:
A D A F#m C#m D E D A E
Lots of arpeggios and sus4/sus2 hammer ons/trills etc - listen to the song for the structure
The other tabs I did are on Hostile_Matt's link

I worked out all of Sweet Payne over the last hour or so Rogggo It'll be accepted to ultimate-guitar on monday. Solos are fucking annoying to tab, I managed to tab the first half of that outro solo, but it got too boring.

When it's on ultimate guitar it'll be legible, but if you really want to read it, go on ultimate-guitar, go on submit a tab, copy and paste that in, and go on preview.
Oh and the board doesn't allow the holding of the space bar so the chords dont look on the right place.
*shakes fist angrily at proboards*

You did a great job with that tab, but what I've always done with guitar solos for songs I like is I just improv something reasonably similar to the original song, but all my own spin, no tabs or anything.
Which is why I don't have tabs for any of THS's stuff, I just fiddle around until I figure it out.

Yeah I prefer to improve, but sometimes it's nice to know the general pattern of the solo

just a little note on the sweet payne solo, at the very beginning when you bend on the 12th fret instead of playing the next note on the 17th fret on the same string you can just play the same note on the 12th fret on the next string. it's a pretty common lick in alot of rock and roll music.

Yeah, but a lot of the time I prefer to stay on the same string as much as possible (I love sliding), different note positions suit different people I suppose.

Staying on the same string is easy, but going from say 3rd fret to 8th fret is considered bad playing technique. This is becuase the eigth fret note can usually be found lower on the next string up, which saves time and energy.
'Course that's apart of classical theory, so feel free to do whatever you want.

two things:
first off, i would be one happy dude if someone would post the CORRECT tabs for cattle/creeping things and you gotta dance...
someone took a stab at cattle a while back and, while it was a close, it just wasn't quite right. i know there are some strange chord progressions and odd chords, so it's not an easy one to figure out.
second thing is a question: what is your absolute favorite THS song to jam along to the cd with? i gotta go with chicago seemed tired last night. something about that song makes it so much fun to play.

Most People Are DJ's live at the 40 Watt Club. Charlemagne is great to jam to, but Djs just tops it.
