last time i checked, the band was okay with both but will defer to the venue. many venues impose restrictions on one or both.

It really depends on the venue. I know so far on this tour, people have successfully taped in Urbana and Bloomington, but I saw a guy get turned away when he asked the venue staff in Buffalo.
Pictures are typically okay with most venues; the biggest restriction is usually no professional cameras without a press pass.

You can call the venue ahead of time to ask their policies
The band is cool with taping.

To clarify: "professional camera" usually refers to SLRs. If you're rocking the point 'n shoot, it's probably okay.

I am pretty well convinced that the NYC and Buffalo shows were venue policies. The band's crew didn't bat an eye at me either night at Urbana or Bloomington.

Hey jimna, I downloaded your recording, and it seems that it was cut at the wrong times (at least thats the way it is for me)
can anyone else confirm this

Yeah I was just going to post the same thing. The sound quality is great and the setlist is amazing (Milkcrate, Charlemagne, Banging Camp, Certain Songs). But it seems like the tracks are all cut incorrectly, so about 30 seconds or more of the prior song is in the next song.

I am going to edit the mp3s so they are cut correctly, I'll have them up this weekend

Fantastic recording. Milkcrate Mosh, especially, is amazing. This will certainly tie me over until my A Positive Rage finally arrives.

I had a similar issue with some Bonnaroo recordings a few years ago. My software didn't play so nice with my computer and the tracks were all screwed up. It only took 1,000 angry TOOL fans e-mailing me asking when I was going to fix it.
