So whats with the moderators for the weekenders zoom thread?
As a family we were online for this this, us in scotland, a daughter in Scotland , and a daughter in New Zealand. Just like we did for Mssive Nights in December, which was awesome.
THis time the moderators on zoom blocked both my daughters!
I messaged the moderators got no reply.Bought and paid for this!
Totally spoilt the the experience. The Massive nights was amazing, for all of us
And this is from a family,, that has every year, from the start of massive nights has been there in person in Brooklyn bowl since the beginning .And to every weekenders in Camden.
Pretty sickinging to be honest.
Anyone else experince this?

Are you sure they were manually blocked by the moderators? Zoom calls have a max of 300 people and it was full on Saturday at least. Maybe they just joined too late and couldn't get in?

I was running the zoom call from my laptop and the battery run out just before the encore. By the time I rebooted and tried to get back in I was told the call was full.

No, there were 3 of us in, we did see the calls hit the 300 limit. We were just watching, and 2 of us got ejected. It specifically said they were barred by the Moderator when they tried to log back in. I did message the moderator on the Zoom call, as I was still in, but they did not respond. We have a theory, but it's just that, a theory, that because they had both temporarily turned their cameras off, they were bumped for others. My camera was on, and I did not get bumped. As a footnote, THS management had actually been monitoring the board for problems and did see my message afterwards, and on the Sunday had tracked me down and emailed me, which I was quite impressed with. They said the the chat part of concert was run by a third party, and that party had also suggested that maybe the chat was full, but as I said they were on, and ejected, so that was just a lame response really. I appreciate that as nosferato says it's horses for courses, but when it's all been set up across UK/NYC/New Zealand timezones for a family gathering, it does spoil it. Especially as we did the exact same arrangement for massive nights and that worked perfectly. Hopefully we won't have to repeat that though. Good as it was under the circumstances, I hope we'll be back standing in the crowd at Brooklyn Bowl come November 2021
