Out at midnite wherever you are
I'm trying not listen because I want to save myself for album, but I had a sneaky listen of a few seconds and it sounds cool! Maybe a bit different from their more recent stuff?

It sounds great! I thought about holding off on listening until we get the full album, but I decided not to because I already heard them play it at Massive Nights. Unlike Family Farm I thought the recorded version of this one was a lot better than when they played it live. I love that synth part that comes in after "almost anywhere."
Also, the more I listen to it, the more the technology-based lyrics jump out at me- particularly the "slide your phone into airplane mode" line. It reminds me of the "click on the icon..." line in Traditional Village. Part of the description of this album involved songs about technology and consumerism, and Heavy Covenant delivers in that regard. Additionally, the "airplane mode" line fits right in with Craig's recurring airport theme, and there's also an airplane lyric in Family Farm, so I'm sure there's something deeper to it.

Yeah, I really dig this one! So laiback, atmospheric and still rocking in a cool way. I love how they've have incorporated "new" sounds, that synth (?) thing going through the verse, without it not feeling out of place at all. A little bit of that 40 Bucks vibe, but with more layers and finesse.

Yea this one was great on the livestream and it's great this time around. Maybe my favorite song on first listen since HiW. Really digging the imagery.
