Does anyone have a way to watch A Positive Rage (my understanding of it is that there's a DVD that complements the album, but correct me if I'm wrong)? I can't find it anywhere on the internet, but if anyone has a link to it or a way to buy it, that would be super helpful.

I don't think it's online anywhere. I bought a copy of the CD a few years ago just to get the DVD. It was only a couple bucks - was worth it. Fun to see the band at that time.

Too bad it's not on the internet, thanks for letting me know. I'll try and buy the box set off eBay, I'm sure it is worth it

I saw the DVD once when it was released, and didn't revisit it until they did a showing (and a Q&A) in London last March. It was really fun to watch again, and while it's short and not a full documentary, it was a nice glimpse of the band at what in many ways were their peak, at least commercially. And you can really tell that what they've been talking about in the latter years, that it was a crazy and drunken ride, is completely true.

It’s a fun watch, totally worth buying. I’m on there for a few seconds, as I got interviewed while standing in line for the First Ave show.
I remember sometime before the DVD dropped there was a trailer on YouTube with a lot (all?) footage that didn’t make the DVD...I remember it seeming a bit darker than the finished version ended up being. The trailer disappeared rather quickly and I never saw it again.

Finally got my hands on a copy! Definitely one of the best purchases I've made. I thought the majority of it was just going to be live recordings (which I also would've loved), but I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of commentary and behind the scenes footage. I could listen to Craig talk for hours about literally anything. Also, I firmly believe that the Paddy Costello & Franz scene is the most iconic in cinematic history.

Just to add to this - when they did the Q&A in London 2019, the band hadn’t seen it before! They were in stitches when that bit came on, was lovely to see.

Am I right in thinking that basically none of that footage is on the actual DVD? I wonder how much didn't make it on and if it still exists somewhere. I also love that Galen seemed to be having a great time.

I also love that Galen seemed to be having a great time. Yeah I don't remember much about why some(all?) of this footage didn't make it and makes me wonder how many other hours of footage from 06/07 they have that captured that special time. I remember seeing this trailer and ripping it right away and then it sort of disappeared so I was glad I grabbed it.
