I'm certainly not offended, but I do really love the original cover art of CHFE. I have the 7" also. See, I don't love it. But, that's OK! I have the 7"too. They only released the one, right?

There was another one released in the UK (by Full Time Hobby rather than Vagrant), but it just came in a white sleeve with a white label: www.discogs.com/Craig-Finn-Some-Guns/release/3391887

the 2 songs from the some guns 7" are super good. i was really glad he played them regularly on that tour. there's no artwork on the sleeve, but it does have a stamped logo on the record that ties it in to the other records!

The new PledgeMusic page is up for We All Want The Same Things - out March 24th. Through Pledge it also comes with the four non-album track Calvary Court EP too. www.pledgemusic.com/projects/craigfinn2Can't wait for this. Next payday I'll be getting the vinyl bundle. As much as I'd like to have a room completely covered in handwritten Craig lyrics I don't think I can justify getting another one this time.

I am on a major music-stuff buying hiatus but I will make an exception for the WAWTST vinyl when I get paid on Monday.

Still hoping a Newmeyer's Roof EP shows up on Vinyl someday. I shot that artwork so you'd have to get in line behind me!

Where can one find the acoustic version??! I'm on my phone and can't copy/paste the link, but it's on his Facebook, during what he called the "Lent Sessions". At the time the song was called "1994". I do like the album version too, but I'm a sucker for that minimalist finger picking he does on songs like the acoustic version of "Maggie" and "Dennis and Billy".

This convinced me to preorder the album now. I regret my decision only because now I have to wait until March for more. I actually prefer Preludes but CC is really good too and now I'm fiending for those other tracks

Really enjoying the sound of the two songs we've heard - the instrumentation just feels really warm to me.

I'm not 100% sold on the sound yet. Really liking it, but I'm such a fan of the FITF sound, I think I need some time to adapt to this slight turn. I can see where that War On Drugs comparison come from, and I've never gotten into their last couple of albums, allthough I loved the first one. Craig seems to have better songs, though. And I enjoyed Calvary Court a lot more than Preludes. It's gonna be a solid album.

I don't think the sound is that different to FITF, just a bit more full sounding. I am a big fan. Preludes gets better on every listen for me.

i'm also not crazy about the sound of Preludes, it's a bit soft rock. might grow on me, though. or make more sense in the context of the record. Calvary Court is fucking great though.

The instrumentation sounds a bit like the demo song that comes with a keyboard. But I agree, it may grow on me.

My first impression of Preludes was it sounded like Panpipes - I have a vision of it being played outside the local shopping centre. Much prefer Calvary Court.

"We’re also plotting ideas now for coming to the UK very soon and possibly doing more Living Room shows throughout 2017." From Pledgemusic site: linkNow that sounds interesting! Anyone have any updates / info?

Got my email saying everything's been shipped and the download's now available!
Currently reaching the end of my first listen. Had it on at work so not been able to give it the attention it deserves just yet, but got to say a few of the songs had more energy than I was expecting and that was definitely a pleasant surprise after what we'd heard up to that point. Made the drop into God in Chicago a lot more affecting too.
Can't wait for the record to arrive and to dive into it properly.
