My daughter came and told me this late last night (whilst wearing her Motorhead t-shirt).
I'll never forget reading that Lemmy was thrown out of Hawkwind for his drug issues - which is a bit like being asked to leave Mumford & Sons for being a bit posh!
Lemmy was a true rock animal - not to everyone's taste, very much a man of appetites.
