Great list! A lot of my favourites on there too so there's not really any point me posting my own. Sleater Kinney's probably one of the only big hitters for me that you've missed. That, Courtney Barnett and Titus Andronicus are probably my most listened to of the year.
How was that Beach Slang gig you saw? Just been listening to that record this week actually.
I saw Willis Earl Beal last week in a tiny room in Leeds. Definitely the most interesting gig I've been to this year.

Langhorne Slim & the Law - The Spirit Moves Ike Reilly - Born on Fire Hop Along - Painted Shut Mountain Goats - Beat the Champ Royal Headache - High Lianne La Havas - Blood Perry Keyes - Sunnyholt
Between my full time job, two year old and three musical ventures of my own I made it to almost no shows this year, though Pixies/TV on the Radio at Brewery Ommegang was incredible. Gig of the year definitely goes to Mountain Song/Chris Stringer/Anthony James at the Castle Hotel, Manchester. Though I admit I'm a bit biased there.

the beach slang show was just kind of a perfect day all around. it was part of a 5 day run my band did with them, and i was having a blast. totally settling into (short) tour mindset, easy drive that day, beautiful day at the beach, lots of people at the show, i dunno. everything felt like it was going right that day.

'Funeral' may well make it into a revised playlist I want for the celebration after I shuffle off this mortal coil!
