Hi there folks, For anyone who doesn't know me I'm Alex, I live in Manchester UK and I'm one of the lucky, lucky people who did a THS jam session this year (click HERE for the rant). Well, once I finally recovered from such an amazing experience I got back to work on my own band's stuff and I'm pleased to be able to share something with everyone. In fact this is the very first place I'm sharing it. I love the positivity everyone here has for music so it struck me as the perfect place to share something. My band's called Mountain Song, we're obviously on Facebook and we're putting our debut EP out September 1st. Here's a song, I'd love your feedback and will probably send a few download freebies out on here too if anyone wants 'em. If you're near Manchester I'll be sure to let you know when we're gigging. www.youtube.com/watch?v=1HXdc_eBTa0Thanks everyone, see you all at the next round of UK THS shows. Alex

Good stuff Alex. Your band bio in particular is quite inspiring.
I'm heading to the UK next spring for a singer/songwriter tour with fellow board member Stringer. Two dates booked in London so far, then moving on to Wales and a final date in Dublin, over the course of a week. Not sure how easy it would be to travel from Manchester for any of them but it'd be great to meet up and hang out with as many US members as I can while I'm there. Give ya the full list when they're all booked.

Awesome! I'm definitely there, it's easy to get anywhere in the UK really - our whole country is smaller than New York State Thanks for the kind words, glad you dug the tune.

I really like your sound Alex. Good work! Presuming the name is a janes addiction reference?

VeloCoustic at the Black Sheep on Capel St, Wed April 1st. They haven't officially confirmed the date yet because the gal said they only book three months in advance, but she assured me she'd hold the date. Are you in Dublin? I've never been, really looking forward to it and could certainly use a local to steer us clear of the tourist traps.

I really like your sound Alex. Good work! Presuming the name is a janes addiction reference? It is, but only in so much as it's actually a nod to the band Oceansize - a big influence on us all as players.
