For the record, I am not a big fan of TGA at all (especially after Brian Fallon's rant at last summer's Pier 26 TGA/THS show)... BUT, I am really digging this cut off their forthcoming record. It's got a killer chorus and definitely signifies a minor shift in the band's sound.

Rollin' and Tumblin' has been my jam for about a fortnight. I have high hopes for the album. When my copy finally arrives.

I think their output through American Slang is awesome. Handwritten sounded like I should have liked it, but it never clicked, and I didn't like Rollin' and Tumblin' or Get Hurt at first listen.
The whole album is streaming on iTunes Radio now, for those interested in checking it out before buying.

first impression is that this is really not very good. bummer. I really liked where these guys were heading after American Slang.

I like the chorus as it calms from the monster guitar which could cause an earthquake because it's that powerful. thanks for that Dealers.

I love this record! Handwritten was just a little bland for me, this album is bold, heavy and beautiful in all the right places. Seeing them live soon, can't wait.

I strongly dislike Get Hurt. Out of the 16 tracks on the delux edition, I only listen to 8, and 4 of them are the bonus tracks. But even most of those 8 I don't like very much. Sometimes the mood strikes me and I'll seek them out, but most of the time they're just the ones I don't immediately skip when my music is on shuffle.
Credit where it's due though, there are a few I really like and actively listen to.
The weird thing is, most of the songs aren't wholly bad. For instance, I'll really like the verse but loathe the chorus, or vice versa. Overall, it makes for a very frustrating listening experience. If I could listen to only portions of each song, this record would be awesome.

This album sucks (except for Stay Vicious, which I love). Fallon's singing is horrendous and the production is so bland. Plus the songs ain't that good either.

I went out and bought the Best Buy version of this record with the bonus track "This Is Where We Part". I like the album. These guys are another band it took me awhile to get into actually just like The Hold Steady. I'll probably buy the rest of their output too. Great breakup record.

Their first three records and EP are on point. I thought Handwritten was alright - good record to drive to - but nothing that really stuck with me. Either of Brian Fallon's side projects (The Horrible Crowes, Molly and the Zombies) are must-haves for me.
