Alright. Here it goes. I'm looking at my record sitting in my room, number 2/1000. My record. It's beautiful. The covers were screen printed so they're all a little unique, and they have life and texture. I designed the covers and the logo and the layout and the overall image. I got them pressed. My name is on the insert. That's all great, but the music, man. I couldn't be prouder. So I'm shamelessly self promoting right now, and I don't care what anyone thinks anymore. I used to, and I'd post the occasional show, maybe mention my band half jokingly in a "who should tour with THS" thread or something. I probably won't do this again, but right now I have to. I don't care if you think I'm some punk kid with a shitty local band. I love my band, I love my music, and I love my record and at this point, it really doesn't matter if anyone else does. In the words of someone we all know, there is so much joy... Tourmaline Record Release Show Jan. 3rd Maxwells, Hoboken, NJ $10. 8 PM. 18+ w/ Socratic and The Embracers Tickets: www.ticketweb.com/t3/sale/SaleEventDetail?dispatch=loadSelectionData&eventId=738344

hardcorey, i am eagerly awaiting my copy!!!
and it's not like you're some stranger posting spam about their crappy high school nickelback cover band and yr BRAND NEW BLOG. (and actually, even if you were, i might think that was kind of cute.) but you're a part of our little corner of the internets. for whatever it is worth, i think you should feel free to self-promote.

UPDATE: If one of your goals in life is to see a guy in a neckbrace on a lot of heavy drugs try to front a ferocious rock n' roll band, you should probably come tonight

Hey Corey Congratulations! The eighties DID almost kill me but I survived them by playing in a band. Playing Maxwell's was a blast! I wish I could be there. How can I buy a CD? It's all about support. Have fun!

Man, I'm really digging the song "The Swindle." Is that you doing the louder, ragged vocals on that song? Regardless, I dig it alot!
