Thought I'd best start one of these for Wolves show!
Myself, Lauren and Ben will be there hopefully as early as possible post-work for a bit of pre-game. If anyone has any ideas of where to meet/head list em here

As a former Wolves resident I'd also recommend the Little Civic which is practically next to the Wulfrun. A tiny little place, has a great gig venue upstairs. The Royal London is okay, but it's full of youngsters (I don't know how old you are mind), mainly 18-21 year olds. Better drinking holes are the Varsity and the Hogshead which are both opposite the Royal London and so within easy walking distance of the venue. The Varsity is probably the best of the bunch.
I'm missing this one as moved down south, but will catch them the night before at Portsmouth!

I'll be there on my own, on the train from Telford about 25 miles up the road. My fourth HS gig, and my first in 2008! Will probably have a few pints of ale in town beforehand.

Anyone going to the pub before the show? I will probably have one in the Wetherspoons and maybe one in the Hogshead bar - the beer is good in both of these pubs

Gutted to have missed my local Sheffield gig last week, but got a 50/50 chance of getting to the Wolves gig now (as I'm working in Warrington on Monday afternoon). Any Wolves locals know a good place to park, bearing in mind I'm not likely to make it down there til about 8-8.30? Take it the box office'll still be open to pick up the tickets?!?
TIA

TIA The Civic Centre car park is about 200 yards from Wulfrun Hall and is open till 11. Many other car parks within about 5 minutes walk, such as Molyneux Stadium, the Mander Centre car park and Beatties Car Park, (think they close about 7ish. Might be later with late Xmas shopping but worth checking). Civic Centre probably best though. Another late one, if it's full, would be Broad Street Car Park which is 24 hours, but is a bit further away, maybe 5-10 minutes walk. This should help: www.wolverhamptoncity.co.uk/files/download/206145161011641.pdf

TIA The venue is not far from the perimiter of the ring road where free parking spaces are available around West Park, near to the Banks' Brewery. There is also plenty of pay parking between the venue and the railway station but Wolverhampton is not the cheapest town to park in I'm afraid.

It's a good pub to meet but oi loiks my real ales so I'll be having one in the Wetherspoons and the Hogshead. Will wear my red HS shirt (the one with a ship on it) if it's not too cold. Well, I could always pull it over my jacket if it is ;D I'll try and say hi to you US'ers if I'm not feeling too shy.
