Yup I'll be there with Beero.
Home town gig for me even though I don't live there anymore. I saw THS at the Wedgewood Rooms last year and it was a great gig!
Counting down now...

Now I'm having to go on my own, I've persuaded the missus to drive me over from Southampton and go and visit a mate while I'm at the gig and then pick me up after - one of the many reasons I'm marrying her - but we want to go for some food beforehand - Anyone recommend anywhere nearby for decent pub style eats?

lets bring the party guys There should be two confirmed confetti throwers in my group - hopefully it won't result in a shoeing from either security or non-posi punters!

Excellent, excellent, excellent. Nice one fellas. 1st time I've seen them and so, so impressed. Never seen a band buzz with so much energy before...brilliant.
I'd post a set list if only I could remember everything (I don't know how everyone does it - do you keep a notepad or summat?). Was a feeling a little "special" before they'd started so memory's a little hazy...
Barely had a wink of sleep and in work already...gonna be a long day...
Great venue too...

Nice one for posting the setlist Woody, all flooding back now. Just checked my phone and got some decent picks. Was about 8 rows back on the left, pretty much in front of Franz who was ace, swigging away from his wine bottle as he played one handed! Craig was on top form and Kubler's guitar antics were superb.
Yeah The Mark Inside were very good. Might have to check them out. Decent garage rock with a bluesy edge. Bit of a proggy influence in some tunes as well. The singer was very commanding, in an Ian Curtis intense type way.
Saw a couple of US shirts in there, one guy in front of me with long curly blonde hair - was this you Woody?

Yes a superb evening, CF was wired the whole night.
The playing was top notch, enjoyed every moment, they're still the best live band around (seventh time I've seen them since the Borderline show in Feb 07), still retaining an infectious enthusiasm. You can't help but smile the whole night long.
Particular highlights for me were 'Banging Camp' just cos I love that song but it goes up a level played live, and the best of the whole evening was a massive 'Slapped Actress' that is one helluva monster riff.
Funniest thing of the night was the rather feeble attempts of the crowd to get it together to do the 'Whoa's' from 'Slapped Actress' during the pre-encore interval. Ha ha
Brilliant stuff, makes me want to pop up to the Roundhouse...
and BTW, when are those extra songs they recorded in the SP sessions going to see the light of day?

An excellent night and what a value for money setlist! My highpoint was jumping around like a madman to hoodrat - happy days! I loved FN's wine bottle antics! You just can't help but smile when you see a band really enjoying themselves. One negative point(!) Being unable to shoehorn my way into the front - should have tried harder, but it would have been an a lot of elbowing to get there... Here's a couple of pics - not the greatest quality as I'm still on a learning curve with the new camera - particularly with moving images and boy were those guys moving last night!

Superb photos there
Loved the double-headed Gibson, and the obscure Led Zep cover at the end. Has that been the only other time a doubleneck has been played properly.

That's great, though, since Craig describes it as their Led Zeppelin song.

As we were walking out, the sound engineers had put a tape on, which was a cover of (I think) "Celebration Days", by Led Zep. My mate thought it was ironic after Kube's doublenecked display.
