I need an OKC/Tulsa/Dallas date... preferably before the last week of March, as I'm going to be MIA after about the 20th...

Winter is shorter when there are good shows to look forward to. When Hold Steady meets First Ave it's always one of the best nights of my life. And I aspire to be one of the "nerds in shirts" in the front next time.

Here's hoping for another Mississippi date. But instead of a five hour drive to Oxford, let's bank on a date in Hattiesburg.
The Drive-By Truckers played the week before they went on the Rock And Roll Means Well Tour and Jason Isbell has played in town before.
*Fingers crossed for a date at my favorite bar in the world, The Thirsty Hippo*
It's only a matter of time, right?
Has anyone tried the method of shooting an e-mail the booking agent when they have an empty date on one of their tours?
It's worked before on bands such as Man Man, Titus Andronicus and Andrew Jackson Jihad so I was hoping to see if it is worth sending a friendly invitation.

I'm hoping for some sort of early/mid January show. I have all of this time off from school and nothing to do!

I second that! But I have a theory: It seems that they do it in order. My first ths show was in madison. 2nd in chicago (although they did play mpls also) third was milwaukee, 4th back in madison, and recently mpls. So I think Milwaukee is due!
