- i did two whole owl drawings today.
- since the start of the year i've had two separate strangers ask to have their photo taken with me, not because they think i'm howard moon from the mighty boosh, but because they think i look like howard moon from the mighty boosh.
- in two days i will see the second girl i've seen this year...for the second time.
- i bought two fruit salads from the reduced section in tesco today, and also two custard tarts.

Oh man... cadbury's is really a budget mass-market brand. it's quite tasty, yeah (especially compared to the likes of hershey's), but it doesn't hold a candle to proper confectioners' chocolate here. ...and proper confectioners' chocolate here is put to shame by the stuff they make in mainland europe. holy crap. |

I'm just hooked on the Cadbury's mini-eggs. The milk chocolate ones. It's really the only redeeming point of Easter. (And that was the most sacrilegious thing I've ever said.)

I'm always shocked by what passes for "chocolate" in the US (though you guys do have some good proper chocolate companies, though they're not really big mainstream things). Especially since here in the UK we're scorned by mainland Europe for what we call chocolate. The chocolate market in the UK has expanded and grown more refined, though, with companies like Montezuma and Hotel Chocolat. But sometimes you just need something like a Dairy Milk fix! I do wish in the UK though that we had more peanut butter chocolate. We gets Reese's Peanut Buttercups imported in, and we have KitKat Chunky with peanut butter, but that's it. I LOVE peanut butter. Whole peanuts are ok in chocolate, but Peanut Butter is AMAZING. Oh, and I wish we had butterscotch flavoured things more readily available. So, if anyone wants to do a candy swap, let me know. I'm also interested in trying crazy seasonal sweets like Peeps. |

Oh, and Green and Blacks chocolate is very, very good indeed. they are on offer in morrisons here in rainy bangor. 2 bags = £1.70 what will i do when they take them away after the easter period? i'll tell ye: i'll go into withdrawal. conclusion - mini eggs are GOOD. we do chocolate quite well. i should give up the mini eggs soon before "they" take them off the shelves for the season and i have massive issues with sugar coated egg shaped sweeties. mmmmm cadbury's. |
