I was talking on the bus with some people about a "gallery crawl" tonight, when a teenager who I thought might have been sleeping piped up, "My school's in it." I asked a few questions and he's playing steel drums with his school for the gallery crawl. I LOVE it when kids (okay, inner-city black kids) get into things to the point where they'll mention it to strangers (okay, three older white women) on the bus.
