uh, it's alright. cool place, lame restrictions. you get a table for about an hour + 1/2. there is a 12$ minimum for everyone for food. but besides that it's fun. the do shows and just general adult humor, ok maybe not adult, but sexual humor. and then they do a rendition of a bunch of different movies, called movie mayhem. pretty funny. that plus a bunch of saki bombs. i might be going again soon, tho i hope not. i'll let you know. Wait, is this some sort of crazy LA thing? You get a table for an hour and a half?? What's that about? XO WD

it sounds like a pretty cool place, but what is the deal with the time limit? what happens if you want to stay longer? sake bombs usually make me want to stay some place a little longer than an hour and a half.

XO WD i think so. i believe you need reservations, maybe not. i went once for a birthday. we were drinking having fun, and then the turned on the lights like at the end of a concert and pretty much told everyone to hurry and leave so the next crowd could get in. it was pretty unexpected. it was fun but the kind of fun i would only opt to do once. but yet the same person wants to do their B-day party there again this year.

If you can swing them in another direction i recommend the Edison, it has an awesome 1920's industrial, sort of steam punk vibe to it. and they do these pretty fun burlesque/ variety shows which are becoming all the rage in LA. its a bit on the pricey side and they do have a dress code, but it is a fun evening out.

its official! new phish reunion dates! none in CA, booooo! WD: Burgettstown, PA @ Post-Gazette Pavilion See you there . . . Or, uh, maybe not. Well, how about you can stay at my place if you're following them around - but remember, you'll have to stay in a tent in the back yard. If you're nice, I'll let you in to use the shower, but I doubt you'll want to. XO WD

- cheese. i am a fucking cheese fiend at the moment. right now, i'm at work eating fresh rolls with houmous (i have BOTH caramelised onion and jalapeno houmous...the former is totally amazing) and a lump of brie and a lump of camembert and a bottle of old jamaica ginger beer. yeah, kicking it al desko! - the diy art scene is really blossoming at the moment and last night there was a party which pretty much summed up everything i love about it. all my talented, creative, ridiculously good looking friends were there in force; my friends' bands were playing; there was cheap food and booze and i knew almost everybody there and it really struck me that i have to make the most of the scene while it's like this because there's gonna come a time when the scene will seem less sunny. - the unexpected amount of compliments i received for my moustache last night. - weed. - you.
