I'm certainly not offended, but I do really love the original cover art of CHFE. I have the 7" also. See, I don't love it. But, that's OK! I have the 7"too. They only released the one, right? There was another one released in the UK (by Full Time Hobby rather than Vagrant), but it just came in a white sleeve with a white label: www.discogs.com/Craig-Finn-Some-Guns/release/3391887

So why isn't American Music included on this?

If you have problems and ordered from Frenchkiss and live in UK/EU, still hit up Paul and he’ll work out getting another copy from the UK office upon return. I live in the US but ordered from Bull Moose, not Frenchkiss. Still hit up Paul?

Just finished my first listen - happy to report that mine sounded amazing and played perfectly with no skipping. Sorry that you may have gotten a bad copy, but hopefully it's not widespread. edit: I should say, the tone arm is definitely more wavy on side B but audibly I could not hear anything weird. edit 2: Well shit, on my second listen I did hear some weirdness. Any problem with a pressing with a consistent error is going to vary depending on the equipment used. Hopefully it's not too bad on most setups, but some decks will not play off centered vinyl. It's sounding, from what I hear (no puns intended) that the whole batch is pressed badly for SS. I'll have to wait and see if mines the same - Amazon over here have it and it might be a different pressing? quite often the EU stuff is pressed in Germany and the US stuff is done in the US. I might order a SS from over here and we can do a check. Can someone post a Matrix number from SS? From Discogs: Matrix / Runout (Side A [Etched]): FKR087-1-A NT[interlocking] Matrix / Runout (Side B [Etched]): FKR087-1-B NT[interlocking]

Is it legit though? I read what the second LP "would" contain but if this is the only place to pre order,it this bullshit? Or did we luckily catch an early glimpse of what's to come?Early glimpse. Bull Moose is legit, and commonly posts the first pre-order for new releases as soon as they get (even a whiff of) details for a release. Sometimes this works to their detriment and they have to remove the ability to purchase items until they are officially announced.

Here's Maggie from this session. Gotta say I like this version better than the studio/album version.

I live in Kansas City and 90.9 The Bridge is my favorite local radio station. Craig also did "They Know Where I Live" aka "Dudes From St. Paul" (posted below) and "Maggie I've Been Searching For Our Son" (not posted to YouTube yet) as part of this session.

By the way, is the pledge music thing like kickstarter, where if they don't raise the full goal, you don't get the goods? If so, shame on you Amazonians. It's not. In fact, this Pledge Music "campaign" of Craig's doesn't have a (published/publicized) monetary goal, it's just a site to pre-order the new record plus other cool stuff from.

So, what are the four non-album tracks on the EP?

$30 for the LP? That's a little steep.

So, not one song from the first solo record? That's a ballsy setlist...can't wait. Is Sarah actually Sarah I'm Surrounded? It wasn't on CHFE proper, but it was an iTunes bonus track (and on the Some Guns 7").

Can anyone comment on the sound quality of BaGIA, especially as compared to the previous pressings by Sabot?

Just got the BaGiA version. Looks just like the ordinary release on the outside. Haven't opened it yet, but I guess the only difference is the color. Is there a sticker or something on the outside that says what color vinyl (purple or white) it is? Or is there no way to tell until you open it?

Has anyone seen the band or Vagrant post/say anything about these reissues/represses?

The official RSD list doesn't have any THS listed either in the large-press runs or the limited runs... Do they ever have a 2nd round of announcements? EDIT: I now see that they're listed as "FIRST RELEASES". So does that mean that it's not really a limited RSD run? It appears that is the case, that they will be released first for RSD, but not as RSD exclusives. I wouldn't be surprised if the RSD versions are on colored vinyl, and then they're released later on black. Usually for the "RSD First" releases there is something unique/exclusive (e.g. colored, numbered, etc.) about the version available on RSD.

I really don't believe there is actually a 1xLP version.

Yes, for $5. Just click the Pledge Now button under the video, not any of the exclusives on the right side. Thanks, but it says I have to choose at least one exclusive. Try putting in an additional amount (at the bottom of the list of exclusives) of $5 (which should change your total to $10) and then change the additional amount back to $0 (which should change your total back to $5 for just the download). Doing that worked for me yesterday.

Is there any way I can get the digital version without pledging for an exclusive? Yes, for $5. Just click the Pledge Now button under the video, not any of the exclusives on the right side.

Bit of an annoying way of doing it for those who don't do vinyl... I believe there is a minimum pledge (less than $15) you can make just to get a digital copy of the EP.
