That picture of them in a limo is amazing.
Do you think they'll tour to support it?? (95% joking)

I saw him in Philly back in October. The new songs are really good. The new "Twangy" take on the old songs sounded really good, too.

Kids today and their "CD booklets" in my day we just had badly tagged, low quality illegally obtained MP3s off Napster and latterly Audiogalaxy. Hahaha, Maybe it was a "Digital" Booklet???

what is the 'almost famous' line when lester bangs is talking about the doors? Jim Morrison is a drunken buffoon posing as a poet. At least the guess who had the courage to be drunken buffoons. That's why they were poetic.or something like that.

The lyrics to that song are awesome, "Even if you threw like Vida Blue, I'd hit on you like Killibrew."
One of the best baseball references in a song since Paul Simon sang, "Where have you gone Joe Dimaggio?"

For my next tattoo I'm gonna get a white guy with a mohawk playing the blues while sitting in the back of a BMW... It's gonna blow some minds.

Lifter Puller song "Viceburgh"
"These hescher guys are trying to give me high fives."
I thought he sang, "These Hessian guys are trying to give me high fives"
Anyone know what Hersher Guys are?

I saw him at the TLA in the Spring... It was OK. I like his solo stuff, but it'll never be as good as the SC stuff. Saw them back in (maybe) '99 at the Electric Factory. Solid Show.

Now, I'm not saying anything, but that sweet woman was a sweet young woman once. Perhaps she's a stockholder or ... something like that. Are you subtly implying Galens mum used to be a bunny? If so - that is awesome!! Galen has always interested me. I love looking at him between songs, he's always in a really good mood and always making funny faces toward the crowd. Now the fact that his mom is a big fan of Playboy (as am i) just adds to his mystique.

I spent a lot of time archiving my CDs from about Christmas '03 (when I got my 1st iPOD) till about winter '06. After i know everything was ripped I sold them all back to the local CD store. I got about $1,300. I figured CDs won't be worth anything except memories in a few years, so better get something out of them. and now i have an external HD with about 12,000 songs on it.
And Yes, a crate full of vinyl is much sweeter than a wall full of CDs or a HD full of songs.

Very well written, Great insight into the formation of the band as we know it today.
I always thought that one day Craig would write the Great American Rock 'n Roll Memoir, this is a great taste of what can (will) be.
