ay up.
There's loads of talk about THS covering Atlantic City at the minute, but I was thinking about who'd do an amazing version of a THS song.
I'm dreaming of Phil Lynott singing "we're still losing lights in the fight for the teenage liberation"... Jailbreak-era Thin Lizzy would do a brilliant job...
What do you reckon?
*Disclaimer: obviously Jonesie does the best ones already.

Glossary covered "Sequestered in Memphis" on their tour with Lucero this last year. Ben would come up and sing his vocal part also...think they did this one a few times... If you don't know Glossary, you absolutely should...they are giving their last record away for free so there's no reason not to check them out... www.glossary.us

somebody should do a reverse of the War Child: Heroes thing while artists get heroes to sing their songs. would be more interesting then yet another cover of, well, Heroes

That would be awesome. There was talk a while ago of Art Brut doing a cover. That'd be nice. I'd like to hear Craig's words in an English accent. in a dream scenario though I'd like to hear Elvis Costello do The Swish

Nick Cave - Banging Camp The Arcade Fire - Don't Let Me Explode Jimmy Eat World - Chips Ahoy! Pixies - Constructive Summer M.I.A. - Same Kooks Rage Against The Machine - The Swish (this would be godly) TV on the Radio - Magazines (a capella)
I would be overjoyed with any one of those covers.

listen to the title track from Nick Cave's 'Dig Lazarus Dig'. it sounds like Nick covering Craig there are a bunch of 'indie artists cover other indie artists' CDs with various magazines... wonder if THS get covered on any of them

I'd like to hear Big Star do Hornets! Hornets! I would like to hear ANY band do "Hornets! Hornets!" As long as they're somewhat good.
