I could've sworn there was a thread on this already, but my search came up empty.
Anyway, these lyrics from Star 18 are contenders for me:
Sorry I’m late, I got caught in a mosh With this dude that said he used to play with Peter Tosh
and
So Hold Steady at the Comfort Inn. Mick Jagger's at the Mandarin.
But for me the champ is still from Stevie Nix:
She said you remind me of Rod Stewart when he was young. You've got passion, you think that you're sexy. And all the punks think that you're dumb.

I know it's simple but I love "tramps like us and we like tramps"

Your lyrics are the funniest, Jonny!
Seriously though:

Girl I've seen your friend, she looks nothing like Jada Pinkett.

Mick Jagger's at the Mandarin. But for me the champ is still from Stevie Nix: She said you remind me of Rod Stewart when he was young. You've got passion, you think that you're sexy. And all the punks think that you're dumb. Lots of candidates, but I think this is my choice as well. It's the most point-on and explicitly funny line of all of them. But there are plenty of lines who are even more clever, and still funny as hell. At least in context. "I survived the 80s one time allredy/ and I don't recall it all that fondly" "At least in dying you don't have to deal with new wave for a second time" "She's got those Bones Brigade videos/ she knew them back and forth/ she'd slept with so many skaters" "She got screwed up by religion/ she got screwed by soccer players" "I grew up in denial, and went to school in Massachussets" "We thought she was a dancer, but her steps they made the record skip" "I was down on my knees when the chaperone said it was time for me to leave" "She was shaky but still trying to shake ut/ half naked and three quarters wasted/ she was completely alone" "It burns being broke/ hurts being heartbroken/ and always being both must be a drag" "Tramps like us, and we like tramps/ Charlemagne's got something in his sweatpants" "She drove it like she stole it/ she stole it fast and with a multitude of causalites" "His friend gave him four, but said only take one/ but then he got bored, and he ended up taking all four" "I don't think we get the truth/ from kids with stickers on their shoes" "It's a long way from the corner store to the universe when you can't get your car off the curb" "Don't tell them we saw angels, they'll take us straight to the church" "Before she figures out what's wrong/ put another record on" "I was called The Ambassador/ there wasn't much diplomatic there" "How am I supposed to know that you're high if you want let me touch you" "Half the crowd was calling out for Born To Run/ the other half was calling out for Born To Bruise/ we were born to choose/ we got that last call really big descision bar band blues"

I lost my shit the first time I heard “she said she was coming but she mostly just made hard, fast noises. It kinda sounded like The Locust.”

I lost my shit the first time I heard “she said she was coming but she mostly just made hard, fast noises. It kinda sounded like The Locust.” I also really enjoy the counterpart. A bit more subtle, but funny as hell. "She said she was cruising, but she came back bright and all out of focus/ in a cool car cranking Krokus".

I have a soft spot for
“She said the theme of this party’s The Industrial Age/You came in dressed like a train wreck.”
“When she storms out of the restaurant/I think you're supposed to chase her to the lights”

All the comparisons in Knuckles Freddie Mercury, Sunny D etc for me I always hated that Five Alive is made out to be the lesser of two; for me it beats the shit out of Sunny D any day. I wasn't sure I'd be able to get into a band with whom I disagree so wholeheartedly on artificial fruit juice drinks.
