The gang just Instagramed a hint about Night 2: http://instagram.com/p/BNKGdTfhZVE I guessed Beach Slang. Any other speculation (besides Lifter Puller on Saturday of course)?

Hint for night three is up on Facebook. Obvious guess is Japandroids.
Any other guesses for night two? We only got one hint, really hoping for Beach Slang.

Hint for night three is up on Facebook. Obvious guess is Japandroids. For night 1, TA seems to be around, playing their own show December 2nd in New Jersey. So they seem to be available and possible. For night 2, Beach Slang seems to not be touring elsewhere, so maybe available. For night 3, Japandroids appear to be in Australia in early December, unfortunately. The guy in the picture is apparently William Shea, called "the lawyer behind the Mets" in his NYT obituary. That, plus the fact that THS opened for The Replacements at Forrest Hills Tennis Stadium near the old Shea Stadium means the Replacements are opening night 3. I'm kidding. It'll take someone a lot smarter than me to make better guesses.

It'll take someone a lot smarter than me to make better guesses. And those smarter someones have made guesses that seem likely to be correct on twitter in replies to the hints, if anyone's curious (I don't want to spoil them here just in case people want to be surprised.)

Beach Slang would be an excellent choice. They're on a break until January. I'd love to see a Hold Steady/Beach Slang tour but I doubt that would ever happen. My avatar is me at the Beach Slang show in DC in October. I've got the glasses on with my hand on my chin.

Day 3 is probably the So So Glos, as they are the founders of Brooklyn DIY space Shea Stadium.

my four guesses a few months ago were: Lucero J Roddy Titus Beach Slang Since I ran into Rod & Logan from JRoddy on Saturday night, I'll help you cross them off the list as they were unaware of the shows at all.

Day 3 is probably the So So Glos, as they are the founders of Brooklyn DIY space Shea Stadium. Beach Slang would be amazing for Thursday! I had originally thought that Friday was Japandroids, but So So Glos probably make more sense. I've got my tickets to see Japandroids and Craig when they play Terminal 5 in February, so I'll just have to wait a few more months.

Single from her latest album is called "Jellyfish", her previous album is called "Wheel", and BTMI is pretty notably from Long Island, which I think is what the beach picture signifies.
