Made the tragic mistake of trying to get tickets at 10:01 and then I was shut out from Friday/Saturday. I could have gone for Thursday, but it's not realistic. I'm not too optimistic about my chances for Friday.
So, that's 1000 miles I don't have to worry about driving.

And the entire thing isn't sold out, just the presales. Try again during the general sale!

Yeah, those grapes were sour for sure. Literally refreshing the page until 10 even and by the time I clicked buy at 10:00:07 they were sold out. I expect there's fancy software (or even crappy software) that scrapes the page to get a body in first.

I went in at 10:00 exactly, put in for 2, was told to try a lower quantity, and next window was every option "none available"
Sold out in about 7 seconds. They basically sold them all to the crowd funders. I never even knew about that effort. It's pretty disappointing, verging on annoying.
My hope is the band schedules several more shows, after seeing this response.

Exact same thing happened to me. They were gone immediately. Really disappointing.

Similarly shut out. Ticketfly app even had a countdown timer and so tried on both app and desktop for Saturday tickets, sold out within seconds (if any were available). Lesson learned--when planning a weekender it's best to lock down Saturday night first.

Based on my experience this morning, I think there's a lack of clarity/glitch in the system. At 10 am this morning I refreshed for Saturday night, indicated I wanted two tickets and clicked the button ("get tickets"?) at the bottom. Then the Saturday night page refreshed and it indicated there were no tickets available. On a lark I just clicked "get tickets" again and it took me to the checkout with the two tickets I had originally indicated. I suspect that what happened is that when I initially clicked my two tickets, it put those tickets into my "cart" and then took me back to the Saturday night show page just in case I wanted more tickets (you know, if there were actually more tickets available). Had I not have clicked "get tickets" a second time on a lark, I would've given up or refreshed the page or opened another browser window and lost the two tickets that were in my cart.
Or maybe there's just a glitch. Either way, I got lucky.

Missed out on Wednesday's tickets because, well ... they sold out faster than I could refresh the three computers I was using. I missed out today because I was in the middle of finding out if my job is *maybe* still a thing. Anywho, I'm taking it all as a sign that I was not meant to go to NYC for these shows. I hope everyone has a blast. I also hope the band comes to its senses and does SOMETHING in the Twin Cities. Stay positive, everyone!

And I'm sure it will be an awesome show in Brooklyn, and in fairness I'm taking a pass on the festival shows because I just don't dig festivals, so I suppose that if I really needed to see them, I could still make it happen. That's to say, even if I don't get another chance to see the World's Greatest Bar Band, we'll always have Akron.
Well, I've got the Mountain Goats tickets for the Friday of Labor Day weekend in Columbus, OH. If they are on your approved list, I'll see you there!

Had tickets to Grand Rapids, but I wan on a motorcyle and facing four hours of tropical storms to get there, so I had to nope out of that one.

I love Musica and the setlist for that night looked great. I would have loved to see them at Cobra Lounge in Chicago a couple nights later, but my asshole friend just haaad to get married that night. They ended up playing AKM front to back at that show, too. Maybe as a warm-up to their Horseshoe Tavern shows or maybe just as a nice surprise, I'm not sure.

Looks like tickets for each night now listed on stubhub...but I'd rather not deal with the dealers.

Heads up everyone. If you go to the Brooklyn Bowl website, it states that a LIMITED number of tickets will be reserved on a first-come, first-served basis on the day of the show. Tix are $45 and box office will open at 6 PM the day of the show! It looks like it will work this way for all 3 nights.

Out of idle curiosity, I looked and stub hub currently wants USDF $188 for the Saturday night show. Of which maybe $20 is going into the band's pocket? Gross.

Yes, I guess the band gets their $20 or whatever because the ticket technically did SELL. But on the bright side, when nobody pays $188 for the ticket, it will just rot on the vine at the StubHub Robot Buyer Inventory Department which means one less person in the beer line and you get one body size closer to the stage.
