As per Steve Barone (last line is the best) ....
Lifter Puller gets Instagram treatment without using Instagram in new video.
A new Lifter Puller video featuring raw black and white footage captured on a vintage super 8 film camera is now on the internet. It features clips of the band's reunion show at the D4th of July celebration outside of the Triple Rock Social Club in Minneapolis on July 4, 2015.
The video was shot by Lifter Puller guitarist/keyboardist Steve Barone and multi-media guru Rich Tarbell. Tarbell also edited together the footage to the Lifter Puller song “Touch My Stuff”, that appeared on their last LP released in 2000, “Fiestas and Fiascos”. The video is entirely comprised from a single super 8 film cartridge which contained 50 feet of film, which is about 3 minutes of run time. Most of the shots are seen in chronological order straight from the processed film, taking the viewer from Lifter Puller’s rehearsal space to the outdoor show at the Triple Rock. Tarbell made minor edits to better match up with the music and added intro titles.
“Touch My Stuff” was not performed at D4th of July and was chosen here because it was a short song to accommodate the small amount of footage captured. To the viewer, it almost seems to sync up in sections.
Lifter Puller does not advocate using Super 8 for anything because it is expensive as fuck to get it processed. Use Instagram.

Expensive or not, that looks fantastic in super 8. Brilliant job! Thanks. My first time dealing with Super 8 and we learned a lot. We got the film developed in Los Angeles and Steve took one for Team LFTR PLLR financially to make it happen.
