Did he bring anyone with him, or was it just him and the guitar?
I would love to hear Certain Songs, if that was the case.

Craig played for about 75 minutes and there was a real mix of stuff including: · Mission Viejo – from his lifter puller days. Craig said that it was one of his favourite lifter puller songs; · Modesto – sounded lovely on acoustic guitar; · Certain Songs – for me that was the high point of the night; A brand new song (which Craig was actually changing as he was playing it) by way of encore. That was called, “Dark Days for a Cocksman” which tells a story about David Coverdale being stuck in a hotel at the airport in Minneapolis. It came directly from a conversation which Craig had with Michael Hann of The Guardian and writing the attached article: www.theguardian.com/music/2015/apr/22/david-coverdale-whitesnake-the-purple-album-deep-purple Craig had loads of chat and banter in between songs. He made a lot of reference about the fact that his new album contains references to lots of woman’s names. He said that the woman in, “Christine” is perhaps one step too reckless whilst the narrator is probably one step too careful. He said that makes for a nice mix.

Great article that - I remember reading that Robert Plant calls Coverdale "David Cover-version"!

Was so glad to be able to make this last night after work in London. Great to see Stringer and Alane from the Scene too. Tiny little shop with about 30 people crammed in. Lovely to hear every word and note in a quiet and intimate setting. I'd also have to say that Craig is singing and playing with such confidence (on his own) these days I'm pretty sure these are the songs played, apologies if they're not quite in the right order: Maggie I've been searching for our son Extras Christine Newmeyer's Roof Dennis and Billy Stringer and I were glad to meet Craig afterwards and get things signed. I would have to say that I was delighted to meet someone who is a genuine hero to me and whose words / music have got me through thick and thin. I did try not to fangirl too much, though!!
