The best kind of dinner there is. I love breakfast anytime. I love breakfast in bed when someone else is making it. Bizarrely, I'm sure I made almost exactly this comment on a post I made on the old board where we were discussing breakfast... Breakfast in bed = amazing. My lovely boyfriend brings me breakfast sometimes on a Sunday. On my birthday he made a super fancy breakfast - smoked salmon, scrambled eggs, fresh white bread with a good crust toasted and buttered. Nom.

This is a little test I have. Sometimes, I ask people I meet if they ever had breakfast for dinner when they were a kid. Who knows what it means? (Stephanie is excluded from this game.) XO WD

I can't talk about the details really, but: I'm going to be in a forthcoming BOOK! My article got accepted (subject to revisions, naturally). OMG. This is SO COOL.

(Stephanie is excluded from this game.) *kicks at ground* I can't talk about the details really, but: I'm going to be in a forthcoming BOOK! My article got accepted (subject to revisions, naturally). OMG. This is SO COOL. Congratulations, love! Let us know when it gets published so we can all run out & buy a copy. I am in this book. Only thing I ever submitted anywhere, throwaway whim at the ripe old age of 21; now I never have to submit anything ever again and my batting rate will always be 1.000!

Logically, breakfast for dinner means you were poor. Eggs have always been an incredibly cheap source of protein. Fry up an egg or two, a piece of toast and, maybe, if they had been on sale, a sausage link or couple of pieces of bacon. In the 70s, that meant dinner, per person, was abut $.35. (I'm just guessing on price.)

My mom is Italian, so I had pasta for dinner. Every. Night.

My mom used to cut up some hot dogs and mix them with our scrambled eggs for dinner. Served with a lovely side of toast. She used to try and hype it up as special treat. It wasn't until years later that I realized what was really going on.

It wasn't until years later that I realized what was really going on. I bought into that whole "special treat" thing when I was a kid. You don't realize it until you start buying your own food. XO WD

I secretly like having to stay late at work. (But only when I don't have something going on in the evening.)

Hmm... I never think "cheap food" when I think "cooked breakfast"... I think of stews and soups (which I've always eaten a lot of).
I love a fry up for dinner.

I'm spreading tHS subliminally throughout my school by writing lyrics and the stay positive logo all over the place. Transcendentalism circle of 7 went well in english. I had fun in my history debate (I had to justify southern secession in the 1860s.) My spanish class doubles as a health class and when I walked it, I saw a poster for Oxycontlin...It made me smile.

I found out netflix has added the Office to its instant watch thing. Love. Maybe this should go in the procrastination thread.
