I might be doing Pawtucket. The Met is an awesome venue, and the band was great there a few years ago. It's also where/when I got introduced to The Figgs, who destroyed.

In case you needed any incentive to attend the Tulsa show in April, keep this in mind: The Sex Pistols played there.
Not the reconstituted cash grab Sex Pistols- it's the last venue remaining from the Pistols' only US tour supporting Never Mind the Bollocks.
Here's the great This Land Press clip about it:

Twin Cities, please? This Saturday evening Jason Isbell told us he got a text from Craig right before the show started. Per Jason, Craig texted to say hi, he missed us, and would see us soon.

I'm currently shaking out a place to stay so that I can go to this. The addition of The Replacements just sent it off the charts for me. I'm basically using all of my vacation time from work this year on Hold Steady shows, and i'm perfectly fine with it.

So unbelievably pumped for 4/4 Portland. Probably going to hit Boston as well. I've actually yet to see a Hold Steady show, the last time they came to Portland I hadn't turned 21 yet. I've been listening since I discovered Boys and Girls in the fall of 06 when I was a sophomore in high school. I can't believe it has taken this long but after 7 and a half years I am finally seeing THS live.
Gonna be an incredible weekend too, 4/4 THS in Portland, then I'm taking my little bro to Fenway on 4/5 to see Sox/Brewers.

I live in South Bend, IN. Anyone interested in making the 3+ hr. treck with me to the show in Pontiac, MI. I don't mind driving my car. If you live somewhere along the way close to S. Bend, I can pick you up. As of right now, I don't know any THS fans. My one friend Ed, just moved back to England.
I'll also be at the Indy show two days later but I have a date for that show.
Can't wait.

I need the sky to rain money for travel shows right now, but we've got to be getting Florida dates, right? Even with the Ybor tear down? Everyone loves Orlando! We can make Fort Lauderdale a better experience! (Ok, no we can't. Lauderdale is a terrible concert town)

What happened to Richmond on 4/19. That date magically disappeared.
Might hit 4/5 in Ithaca. Anyone ever been to The Haunt? Thoughts?

I think it'll be a good venue for THS. The last show I saw there was Lucero and Titus. Close to the stage, bar, and it's also a bbq joint. Okkervil River was great there as well. I saw the mountain goats there and that was a less successful venue for them--but that's because John was doing a lot of quiet songs. ANYWAY. I'm stoked. It'll be a fun show.

I had the very great pleasure of seeing The Sex Pistols on Xmas Eve 1977, the day before was my 17th birthday, I spent that watching The Ramones. Gig doubles like that don't come around often!
