a former friend and employee of my father included me AND my father on a mass e-mail begging for money because he went to grad school, isn't working, and didn't "plan well." fuck you, asshole. almost everyone i know in grad school is working a part-time job, if not taking out thousands of dollars in loans. grow up and manage your shit. oh, and skipping out on working for my dad screwed him over, so i doubt he's sympathetic to your plight.

I've got some stupid assignment that I have to look up dumb stuff of Henry David Thoreau and Ralph Waldo Emerson for. SO NOT LOOKING FORWARD TO THAT. I also have a majour project on polar equations and stuff in math alongside my term paper. AND, I have to finish up directour notes for the scene from theatre. SCHOOL IS LAME.

I'm behind with work, I'm always fucking behind with work, it's 3am and I have only edited 9 of 17 pages that I'm supposed to hand in tomorrow. Uuuugh. I think I'll go to bed now, probably to have weird anxiety filled dreams. I've just got to keep focused on that shiny shiny Doctor title at the end of this editing-re-editing-editing-again tunnel...

I have never got a "yes" to asking a girl out, and I have (seriously) asked out 5 girls in my time. Went out with the first two a few days after asking them out. I'm awesome at maintaining relationships though, the first one was 6 months, then we took a break, then it was 3 more months (she was a fucking mess). Even if she wasn't a mess, it's pretty good for 8th-9th grade. Then the last one lasted 2 years and a month. I know it's not my personality that girls don't like, it's my looks. I wish I wasn't so ugly...

sunnyd, you are not ugly. in any sense of the word. i would go with adorably hip, in fact, from your vids. we have hung out here on the board enough for me to think you are anything but ugly. more like funny, bright and talented.
but don't fall for the trap of believing the crap the world can feed you about what women find attractive. the commercial image of an attractive man is no more real than the image that women must be 6 feet tall and weigh a 100 pounds in order to be attractive.
that image bears no relationship to the actual men that women fall for. i for one, have a complete jones for dorky guys with smarts, talent, passion and confidence. (are you on facebook? there are some pics of my husband to prove it.) the only one of those things that easily communicated on a superficial level is confidence. cultivate it; believe in it; you'll do fine. there's not a teenager in the world who really gets relationships or flirting. (see teen posts on "flirting" thread on the old board). i know you're supposed to live your life at all times, all ages because it's short. but, really, even if teen relationships arent "practice", you can still cut yourself some slack. you're relatively new at this.

I didn't do my stupid research for stupid Henry David Thoreau and Ralph Waldo Emerson because they're stupid. AKA - I do not enjoy transcendentalist authors, so why are we spending so long on them?!

It's a hold steady show, you'll be okay! my plan is to sleep in and miss my evil lecture (with great pleasure). then get high on sugar on the train. the adrenaline must win in the end. it's been too long for this to be ruined.

Depends on how work's going... If I can do a fair amount I'll come earlier, otherwise I'll be there early evening. But I want to be in Manchester by 6 at the latest so I can see you all and give you CAKE. Will see if I can come beforehand.

My dentist is actually awesome. Find someone with massage chairs in the lobby and flatscreen tvs on the ceiling. And dreamy eyes. Nothing wrong with a dreamy-eyed dentist. I would exchange the massage chairs and tvs for dreamy eyes. Definitely.
