This was posted on their twitter page:
"The Hold Steady are performing at Apple Store SoHo tonight at 6 pm! Go now to get your wristband for tonight! Located at 103 Prince St!"
Anyone planning on going?

Very fun, intimate acoustic gig. All six members played, with Galen on additional percussion. Probably about a hundred or so person turnout, and was told that this would be released on iTunes in the future.
The setlist:
Sweet Part of the City Barely Breathing We Can Get Together The Weekenders Separate Vacations Chips Ahoy Both Crosses Cheyenne Sunrise

AHHH!!! This was such an awesome experience... I flew into NYC on Thursday night, too late to catch the band at the Beacon that night. We were on an architecture field trip, and by the most random of chances, my professor wanted us to visit the Prada store, and then the Apple Store. As I'm walking up the stairs in the Apple store, I see that drumhead, and my heart just goes insane! Of course I got my free little armband. When I got to the show, I ended up sitting second-row, right next to Galen's mom. We talked a good bit about music and baseball and traveling. One of the most unforgettable moments of my life, and a big part of why NYC is becoming my favorite place ever!
